In a concise ten-minute session, Călborean drew parallels between building secure digital products and building credible brands. “Security-by-design and communication-by-design share the same logic: clear scope, least privilege, observable results”.
He outlined three core lessons for startup communicators looking to balance visibility with control:
- Define the perimeter. If you don’t decide what your brand defends and delivers, the market will define it for you—often in ways you won’t like.
- Make it observable. Don’t rely on slogans; show dashboards, SLAs, case studies, and before/after metrics that prove your impact.
- Automate the boring. Build systems that let your team keep shipping while staying on message.
